The Department of Computer Applications - Techocean Association Organized a One Day Seminar in “Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning”on 21st MAR 2024 at 09:30AM. This programme was presided by the Esteemed ChancellorShri.A.SRINIVASAN,DhanalakshmiSrinivasan University. The welcome address has given by Prof.M.RAJAKUMAR, HOD, Department of Computer Applications. Dr.N.VETRIVELAN, Principal felicitated gathering and Prof.V.CHANDRACHOWDRY, Dean-Academics waspresent. The Chief Guest wasDr.U.SRINIVASULU REDDY,Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, National Institute of Technology (NIT),Tiruchirappalli. He delivered a special talk on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning”. In his talk he has explained about AI, Different types and functions of machine learning. He has focused how the data is used in machine learning, how it relates to AI and ML, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Deep Learning concepts. He explained to the students clearly about the approach to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Also explained the techniques of getting jobs in Emerging Technologies in the field of AI&ML. He covered the areas like smart home and smart city projects using AI&ML. Finally he has described the significance of AI&ML in today’s job market. More than 250 Students from the Department were attended and benefited by this Programme. The feedback of this function weregiven by our Students. Ms.S.ANUSHAof II-MCA delivered the Vote of thanks and finally National Anthem was hosted and dissolved the function.
